Blogmas Update!

So it's December and everyone is in the Christmas spirit, and as I haven't posted in some time, I thought I should up date you on what I have been doing.

On the 1st of December, me and my family put up the Christmas decorations! Yay! It was so much fun, we had Christmas music and everything. We have two Christmas trees, one in the living room and another one in the conservatory. So, for the first time, I was in charge with decorating the first Christmas tree in the living room! And that only leaves my brother in charge on decorating the second in the conservatory. Things went well, and the house looked so pretty! I even had decoratations for my bedroom; tree, tinsel, etc. Finally we were all in the Christmas spirit once again.

On the 6th of December me and Mum went to Nottingham to go and see Diversity live! If you don't know they are a superb dance group formed in the UK, that perform shows all across the country. The leader, Ashley Banjo, produced, choreographed and written the whole show! It was an amazing experience, both me and my mum enjoyed it very much. The show was called Limitless and the plot was excellent. There was loads going on and Diversity, themselves, were amazing!

Today, I had a very lazy morning and when it came to lunch I made myself some beautiful ravioli on toast. Afterwards me and my mum went to go and do some more Christmas shopping, as we have already done some earlier in the week. It was a very nice afternoon getting some lovely presents for friends and family.

Today has been very nice, shopping, eating, cooking and walking the dog. So, thank you for reading! I will be writing again soon, hopefully something to do with Christmas! Bye!

New Changes...

I decided to change my header into something more decorative. I prefer this one and think its stylish.I hope you guys love this header as much as I do and prefer it from the other one. I hope this one will last and stay a long time on the Red Rose blog.

I have also changed the background and have chosen some grey dots. This compliments the header and also matches with the colours.

I hope the new changes to my blog last and that you guys like them too.

Thank you!!

Reflective Sunday

There are 2 tracks that I am really enjoying and I thought that I should share them with you, as I havent done anything like this before. So, I thought it would be some different content for you guys to read and enjoy!

This song is one of my favourites that Olly Murs has sung, it is on his latest album and I am just loving it! It is nice and slow but has a modern edge to it. The lyrics are so sweet, which makes the song loving and cute. I have got this song on repeat all the time! The lyric video is so gorgeous, I really hope that Olly makes more songs like this!

The new One Direction song, I think is a lovely song. I like the way it is different to their other songs and has a totally different feel to it. Again, the track is so sweet and cute! I will definitely be having this one on repeat. Also their new album is coming out soon and I am really looking forward to see what new tracks they have and the vibe that it gives you. I will be definitely looking out for that one!!

Autumn Hair Style | Apologies | Celebration!

This hairstyle is so easy but looks gorgeous. It's a french plait/braid at the top and then the rest of your hair can either be down, up in a pony tail or in a scruffy bun. I got the inspiration for this braid from Zoella's Blog. I love this hairstyle because it is so cute and stylish! Zoella had her hair with the plait at the top and a messy braided bun at the back which looks amazing!

I also have to apologize for not posting a post in such a long time! It was because I got caught up in loads of homework at my high school! Sorry about that! However on the happier side, I have reached 2,000 views on blog! Thank you so much for viewing it and following The Red Rose!! It means so much and I hope I will be getting more and more views to keep The Red Rose rising up to he top. Thank you:) I love you guys so much:) <3

DIY - Fashion Book

This going to be my first DIY post and I hope that you guys are going to like it! Ehe:)

Anyways, so I have a lot of  Top Model fashion books which if you may not no, they allow you to create different designs! I absolutely love them and if you haven't got some already, I recommend you get some!!

Fashion Book

So, as I  create my fashion designs in the Top Model book, some of you may just use a plain piece of paper which is even better because you can have whatever models you would like. Here are the steps:)

You will need :

  • A Notebook
  • Your own fashion designs
  • A Glue Stick
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Felt Tips / Pencil Crayons

  1. Get a notebook of some kind ( you don't have to buy one, just use an old one if you would like)
  2. Choose some of your most favourite designs.
  3. Cut these out carefully.
  4. Stick them in on the pages!
  5. There you have it a very easy and simple way of making a fashion book of your own!!
  6. You can keep adding to this, to make it up to date!
  7. Also to make your book extra special you can decorate the front and on the pages!!

I hope you enjoyed this DIY tutorial, so if I can think of any more, I can make some more for you:)!
